Kids' rooms require the same attention to layout and materials as any other space in the house, with the added consideration that they need to work for children. We design nurseries, kids' bedrooms, and playrooms that are thoughtful without being precious: rooms that hold up to real use, can adapt as kids grow, and feel connected to the rest of the home rather than like a separate category of design.
